Theoretic aspects of ski training were interested Polish skiers during the twenties of XX century. In these years basic knowledge about teaching and training of skiing were formed. Polish physicians and physiologists were investigated skiers. They tried make ski training more effective. However the main problem was concentrated on improving technique of skiing (especially ski run and ski jump) while methods of motor efficiency training based on individual experience of ski coaches. Theoretic problems of ski training were assumed in a book by Kasprzyk and Czech (1934). During all analyzing period of time, foreign ski experts helped Polish ski competitors. Teaching of Polish ski coaches was major problem for ski organizations in the thirties of XX century. The Polish Ski Association created a instruction system of ski teachers. There were five level of competence from ski teacher assistant to professional ski coach. There were 1183 ski teachers but only 6 ski coaches in Poland in 1939.
